A Book I Recommend
Posted by: Riley in Learning, tags: House of the scorpion, Nancy FarmerHi everyone, this post is going to be about a book called The House Of The Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. This book takes place in the future in Mexico. It is about a clone named Matt who was created to spare his master organs because his master is 130 years old and has lots of diseases. His master spared him because he loved him so much. From then on, Matt his many adventures throughout the book. I recommend this book because it gives thrills and chills down your spine. I like the way Farmer set up the book and how she used powerful words to describe stuff.
Ex. “Finally he looked up and saw his kingdom in disarray. Running around had destroyed the marks that told Matt what lay below. Sighing, he worked his way through the sawdust.”

There is the book I recommend, I hope that you check it out and read it.
Happy DEAR Day and bye!

Hi Riley,
No, the dog didn’t get put down. He went into this thing so doctors could test to see if he had rabies, luckily he didn’t. He still lives with my Aunt, but when I go over there, I’ll be much more careful. Have you ever seen a dog bite somebody before?
